In an era of rapidly changing industrial scenario worldwide, the majority of problems industries or organizations in general have been facing are very complex in nature, arising out of interplay among different resources in operations and setting up of ever-increasing standards of performance at both human and technological levels, the dimension of which are changing over time. A key factor in solving these problem is to design interfaces of humans with technological systems and environment with the assurance and sustenance of performance of the home-technological system (HTS), particularly of humans, over time.
